Travel

We stayed almost a week in Destin and now we're in Ocala. In a couple of days we plan to go Tampa where it is supposed to be 80 degrees! No time for sewing now, but when I get home I will pick up my new sewing machine. We bought a new Bernina 580E before we left on the trip. I will be able to embroider without being constantly "attached" to my computer. Also, I bought some knitting materials and I plan to try to learn to knit. I want to do something "portable". Jean has agreed to try to teach me. We are going shopping tomorrow with Donna's daughter.

New blogger!

I am now a new blogger. I guess I couldn't stand it -I was jealous of others who blogged. Things going on in my life: I went to the bookkeeper's luncheon today, yes I know I'm not a bookkeeper anymore -but I went as a retiree. I saw many people I haven't seen in a long time. Gus is making "improvements" to a sewing cabinet we bought and then we will deliver it to the lake. I'm making a denim/rag quilt. I'm having a good time and learning as I go! Gus & I have ordered books to start the south beach diet. We both need to get into better shape and we have known it for some Time.
